Florida Visitors

We were lucky to have Riggs and Meredith visit us while their Mom and Dad went on a trip to Hawaii.

I love Riggs smile in this one.

Grandma and Grandpa with the kiddos

Nashers and Lil Mere doin' their thing.

 Bumbo chair time

Big Brother helping Nash with his tummy time.

It was even hot enough to get the sprinkler out one day. The boys loved it!

Whenever things got too intense between the boys we just sent them out to the trampoline to settle matters.

April Showers

These two pictures capture exactly what the boys look like right now. Sometimes I feel like we look different in pictures than how we actually look in real life but these two are spot on. Nash is 10 weeks old and is the sweetest and chubbiest little boy. He is calm, happy, and loving. He is starting to "talk" a lot when his big brother lets him get a word in. He sleeps great at night but I think he could go longer if he didn't keep breaking out of his swaddle. Do those breathable cotton swaddling blankets work well?
Gunner is 28.5 months old. He wants to eat oatmeal every morning for breakfast, his favorite show is Max and Ruby, he loves playing at the park, he LOVES Grandma and Papa and always need to know where they are, he loves all animals and wants to pet every dog he meets, he loves going to his swimming lessons, and he loves bouncy balls. He is a chatter-box and is always picking up new words. This last week I forgot his owl at Grandma's house and he replied with, "Oh Sorry Mom. I forgive you."

Showing off those chubby thighs!

Oh no! Mom has the camera out again.

There is no shortage of hugs and kisses around here.

Last weekend was a low key baby shower to celebrate Nash's arrival. Instead of gifts, everyone shared their favorite children's books. It was fun to hear everyone's recommendations and we received many wonderful books. I have many favorites but one is, "Jamberry" by Bruce Degen. It was also great to catch up with all of these awesome ladies!

Easter

How can you not have a great Easter with these 3 boys around?

We celebrated Nash's 8 week birthday by having him wear something other than sweat pants! Hooray! He was in the 95th percentile for weight at his 6 week check up.

Gunner just started sleeping in a big boy bed. I had to capture this shot of him totally turned around in his bed at night.

A fun Easter Egg Hunt at the Johnson's house!

Brothers

Nash is smiling and cooing all the time now. I can't believe he is 6 weeks old today.

This picture was a few weeks ago and you can tell how much he has changed.

Normally I would have omitted such a picture, but let's be honest, this how I look at the end of every day. And yes Gunner has his binkey which he is too old for. Sometimes you've just got to build a fort and relax at the end of the day.

Nash thought Papa's popsicle was very funny.

Can you which Winter brother is which? I think they are about the same age in these pictures.

And we're at the lego/blocks phase. I love it and love watching Gunner build things.

We had 6 deer in our yard the other day. Usually there are just 3 but 3 new ones came and there was a battle for the territory. It was quite entertaining.

Birthday, Bike, and Boys

The 27 year-old with his birthday present. Brandon has been wanting a road bike for a long time and after a lot of research he finally got one. I'm very excited for him and look forward to many family bike rides.
As seen in this picture, I cut Gunner's bangs a little too short. His hair is so thick and wavy so we needed a fresh start...
Brandon (with my approval) buzzed his hair. I love Gunner's new hair-do. It definitely suits his new look as a big brother.

I had to capture this picture of Gunner. He was running around chasing his friends the other night and was "too hot" so the shirt had to come off. I love his sweaty hair and rosy cheeks.

And of course I have to include a picture of little brother. Nash is changing so much every day.
